The Kunbi (Gujarati) of India, numbering approximately 64,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are described as a Hindu agrarian community of western India, concentrated mainly in Gujarat. Traditionally settled farmers, they derive their identity from cultivation and household land management and speak Gujarati as their primary language They are an Indigenous people, with Kunbi as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Marathi-Konkani people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Gujarati.
