They are a Coast Salish Indigenous people of western Washington State, whose traditional homeland lies along Hood Canal and its river systems on the southeastern edge of the Olympic Peninsula. and can also be known as təwəʔduq. They are an Indigenous people, in the North American Indigenous people cluster of the North American Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Protestantism. They primarily speak English.
