The Alabama-Coushatta of United States, numbering approximately 800 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a federally recognized Native American tribe located in East Texas. It is the result of a historical union between two closely related tribes: the Alabama and the Coushatta (Koasati). They are also known as alabama-Coushatta. They are an Indigenous people in the North American Indigenous people cluster of the North American Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is English and their primary religion is Protestantism.
