The Amish of Canada

The Amish of Canada, numbering approximately 11,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are described as an ethno-religious community of German Anabaptists who fled religious persecution in Europe prior to the 18th century, initially settling in Pennsylvania, then reolocating to Ontario after the Revolutionary War and can also be known as Pennsylvania Dutch. They are an Diaspora people, with Amish (Pennsylvania Dutch) as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Germanic people cluster of the Eurasian Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism. They primarily speak German, Pennsylvania.
