The Chukchi of the Russian Federation, numbering approximately 16,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an Indigenous people of the Russian Far East, primarily living in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug near the Bering Strait. They are an Indigenous people, in the Ural-Siberian people cluster of the Turkic Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion - Shamanism. They primarily speak Russian.
