The Macedonians of Germany, numbering approximately 85,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are described as a South Slavic people of the central Balkans, speakers of Macedonian, predominantly Eastern Orthodox under the Ohrid Archbishopric, with an identity historically contested by both Bulgaria and Greece and strong Balkan folk dance traditions They are an Diaspora people, with Macedonian as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Slav, Southern people cluster of the Eurasian Peoples. Their primary religion is Eastern Orthodox Christianity. They primarily speak Macedonian.
