The Doms of Iran

The Doms of Iran, numbering approximately 111,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an Indo-Aryan ethnic group with roots in the Indian subcontinent who migrated west, primarily settling across the Middle East, North Africa, Eastern Anatolia, the Caucasus, and parts of Central Asia. They are also known as Zott. They are an Indigenous people in the Domari people cluster of the Persian-Median Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Persian, Iranian and their primary religion is Sunni Islam.
