The Dharua of India

The Dharua of India, numbering approximately 14,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are described as a Bihar and Odisha community considered a group of the Gond, whose name may derive from their traditional occupation of catching snakes, birds, and small game, now largely landless agricultural laborers They are an Indigenous people, with Dharua as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion. They primarily speak Kudmali.
