The Paky of India

The Paky of India, numbering approximately 23,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Scheduled Caste of Vishakhapatnam, Srikakulam, and other districts in Andhra Pradesh, their name recalling the bird. Traditionally town and city scavengers, today sweeping and farm labor are their main occupations. They mostly adhere to Folk Hinduism and Telugu is their primary language.
