The Maring of India

The Maring of India, numbering approximately 34,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are described as a tribal community of Naga in Manipur, speaking Maring Naga and traditionally practicing agriculture with clans organized hierarchically. The Maring Naga are now increasingly Christian They are an Indigenous people, with Naga as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Tangsa Naga people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Protestantism. They primarily speak Naga, Maring.
