The Kodura of India

The Kodura of India, numbering approximately 25,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Scheduled Caste community of Ganjam district in Odisha whose name derives from khod, meaning to dig. Mostly landless, they work as agricultural laborers, supplemented by rickshaw-pulling and mat-weaving. They are an Indigenous people in the Odia people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Odia and their primary religion is Hinduism.
