The Gandalla are named for their traditional trade in sandal-paste, historically working as tinkers, locksmiths, and hawkers of decorative and household wares. They are an Indigenous people in the Telugu people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Telugu and their primary religion is Hinduism.
