The Pulisari of India

The Pulisari of India, numbering approximately 38,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a masonry community of Kottayam, Kozhikode, and other districts in Kerala also called Kalla Panikkan, their name possibly derived from a word for earth. Masonry and agricultural labor remain their main occupations. They are an Indigenous people in the Malayali people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Malayalam and their primary religion is Hinduism.
