The Bawa Dedh of India, numbering approximately 34,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a scheduled caste community of Gujarat, concentrated in the Jhalawad area of Saurashtra, whose traditional occupation is seeking alms at births, marriages, and deaths. Some Dhed Bawa serve as gurus to other scheduled castes. They are also known as Dhed Bawa. They are an Indigenous people in the Gujarati people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Gujarati and their primary religion is Folk Hinduism.
