The Binjhia of India

The Binjhia of India, numbering approximately 32,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a scheduled tribe of Jharkhand and Odisha whose name, meaning "from the Vindhya hills," reflects their traditional origin. They are organized into subtribes and totemic clans. They are an Indigenous people in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Sadri and their primary religion is Folk Hinduism.
