The Majhwar of India

The Majhwar of India, numbering approximately 104,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an Indigenous (Adivasi) tribal community of central‑eastern India, traditionally forest‑dwelling and agriculturally oriented, with a distinct cultural identity shaped by both tribal and Hindu influences. They are an Indigenous people in the Munda-Santal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Chhattisgarhi and their primary religion is Animism.
