They are an indigenous community of India; a dialect subgroup of Telugu (tel) and can also be known as Kummari, Kumbhara, Wadiyar, Kulala, Komarai, Handa, Salivahana, Kummar, Kummeri, Kumbara, Kumbhara. They are an Indigenous people, in the Telugu people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Telugu.
