The Ezhavathi of India, numbering approximately 55,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Kerala barber community historically serving the Ezhava, whose name Ezhavathi reflects that traditional client relationship, and who performed depilatory and hair-cutting services before opening modern saloons. They are an Indigenous people in the Malayali people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Malayalam and their primary religion is Hinduism.
