The Bhoksa of India

The Bhoksa of India, numbering approximately 69,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are described as a Scheduled Tribe of the Himalayan terai foothills of Uttarakhand and western Uttar Pradesh, traditionally engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry. They are organized into numerous clans, and some claim descent from Rajput warriors of Rajasthan They are an Indigenous people, with Bhoksa as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Buksa.
