The Jambuvulu of India, numbering approximately 32,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are described as a Scheduled Caste community of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, also known as Chakkiliyan and Madiga, tracing their origin to the saint Jambavamurthi. Traditionally leatherworkers, they are now largely agricultural laborers They are an Indigenous people, with Jambuvulu as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Telugu people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Telugu.
