The Korwa of India

The Korwa of India, numbering approximately 253,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an Indigenous tribal community (Adivasi) of central‑eastern India, recognized for their long history of forest‑based living, shifting cultivation, and hunting–gathering traditions. They are an Indigenous people in the Munda-Santal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Sadri and their primary religion is Hinduism.
