The Chidar of India, numbering approximately 60,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Scheduled Caste of Madhya Pradesh, also known as Chadar, tracing its migration from Chittor after the fall of Mewar, traditionally weavers and now diversified into cultivation, masonry, and service. They are an Indigenous people in the Hindi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Hindi and their primary religion is Hinduism.
