The Chik Baraik of India, numbering approximately 108,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are described as a Scheduled Tribe of the Chotanagpur plateau whose name signifies their traditional occupation of cloth weaving, most of whom have shifted to cultivation while a few retain weaving as a subsidiary craft They are an Indigenous people, with Chik Baraik (tribe) as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Hinduism. They primarily speak Sadri.
