The Lotha Naga of India

The Lotha Naga of India, numbering approximately 236,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Naga group of Nagaland who call themselves Kyon, meaning man, tracing common ancestry with the Sema, Rengma, and Angami. Slash-and-burn cultivation remains primary, supplemented by weaving, pottery, and basketry. They are an Indigenous people in the Tangsa Naga people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Naga, Lotha and their primary religion is Protestantism.
