The Gachha of India, numbering approximately 37,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are described as a Madhya Pradesh community of Jhabua district also known as Basor, traditionally basket-makers who took up sweeping and scavenging generations ago after an epidemic decimated the local Bhangi community They are an Indigenous people, with Gaccha as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Hindi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Hindi.
