The Agariya of India

The Agariya of India, numbering approximately 336,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an occupational caste of iron smelters and blacksmiths speaking Chhattisgarhi and Kherwarian languages, distributed across Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar as scheduled tribe or caste. They are an Indigenous people, in the Munda-Santal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Chhattisgarhi.
