The Riang of India

The Riang of India, numbering approximately 244,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a tribal community of Mizoram, Tripura, and Assam also known as Tuikuk in Mizoram. The Riang are organized into two major clans each with six subclans, practicing slash-and-burn agriculture. They are an Indigenous people in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Riang and their primary religion is Folk Hinduism.
