The Mallik of India

The Mallik of India, numbering approximately 317,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a community of Gujarat, Bihar, and Jammu and Kashmir, traditionally agriculturists and government functionaries, their name meaning lord in Arabic. Cultivation remains common, alongside business and service. They are an Indigenous people in the Gujarati people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Urdu and their primary religion is Sunni Islam.
