The Khavar of India

The Khavar of India, numbering approximately 188,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a distinct Hindu caste/community in western India (especially Gujarat), historically descended from royal servants (“Khawas”) who formed a hereditary social group with their own clans, identity, and traditions. They are an Indigenous people in the Rajasthani people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Gujarati and their primary religion is Hinduism.
