The Beldar of India

The Beldar of India, numbering approximately 1,920,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an occupational caste of earth-diggers and laborers found across Haryana, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, speaking Rajasthani, Magahi and Hindi dialects, practicing Hindu rituals and cremation. They are an Indigenous people, in the Marathi-Konkani people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Magahi.
