The Gokha of India, numbering approximately 285,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are described as a Scheduled Caste of Odisha whose name means cow-eater, concentrated in Balasore, Cuttack, and Puri districts, and traditionally sustained by fishing in rivers and ponds They are an Indigenous people, with Gokha as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Odia people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Folk Hinduism. They primarily speak Odia.
