The Mahur of India

The Mahur of India, numbering approximately 44,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a subcaste of the Bania, widely distributed across the northwestern states of India and can also be known as Mahuri. They are an Indigenous people, in the Marathi-Konkani people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Magahi.
