The Kapali of India

The Kapali of India, numbering approximately 390,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Bengali-speaking community originally from East Bengal now settled in Bihar, West Bengal, and Tripura. Their name derives from kapal, meaning forehead. Agriculture remains their main occupation. They mostly adhere to Hinduism and Bengali is their primary language.
