The Ghosi of India

The Ghosi of India, numbering approximately 321,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Madhya Pradesh community claiming Chouhan Rajput descent and divided into Rajput, Ahir, and Muslim branches, whose name recalls their traditional occupation of supplying water to villages, since replaced by agriculture. They mostly adhere to Hinduism and Hindi is their primary language.
