The Baiga of India, numbering approximately 638,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an indigenous tribal people of central India, best known for their deep forest-based way of life, distinctive spiritual traditions, and their recognition by the Government of India as a Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG) They are an Indigenous people, in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Hindi.
