The Miri of India, numbering approximately 879,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic community of India and can also be known as Mising, Murong (Bangladesh), Mishing. They are an Indigenous people, in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion - Polytheism. They primarily speak Mising.
