The Goans of India

The Goans of India, numbering approximately 659,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic community resulting from the assimilation of Indo-Aryan, Dravidian, Indo-Portuguese, and Austro-Asiatic ethnic groups who trace their ancestry to the Indian state of Goa during the time when Goa was an overseas province of Portugal and can also be known as Damaness, Mixticos. They are an Indigenous people, in the Marathi-Konkani people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Roman Catholicism. They primarily speak Konkani.
