The Aguri of India

The Aguri of India, numbering approximately 545,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a caste community of West Bengal and Bihar who speak Bengali, claim descent from military personnel of Raja Man Singh, and traditionally work as businessmen and agriculturalists. They are an Indigenous people, in the Bengali people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Bengali.
