The Ramoshi of India

The Ramoshi of India, numbering approximately 385,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a community of Maharashtra also called Berad or Ramvamsi, traditionally village watchmen claiming descent from Lord Rama. Cultivation has replaced their watch duties. They are an Indigenous people in the Marathi-Konkani people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Marathi and their primary religion is Hinduism.
