The Guria of India

The Guria of India, numbering approximately 901,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a sweetmeat-making caste of Odisha, also known as Gudia, Maira, and Halwai, whose Haldia subgroup traditionally prepares the mahaprasad offered at the Jagannath temple in Puri. They mostly adhere to Hinduism and Odia is their primary language.
