The Coatlan Zapotec of Mexico, numbering approximately 1,300 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an ethnolinguisic subgroup of the Zapotec, an ethnic group indigenous to the state of Oaxaca, Mexico and can also be known as Western Miahuatlán Zapotec, San Miguel Zapotec; Western Miahuatlán Zapotec; Zapoteco de Santa María Coatlán, Zapoteco de Santa María Coatlán, San Miguel Zapotec. They are an Indigenous people, in the Zapotec people cluster of the Latin-Caribbean Americans affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Folk Catholicism. They primarily speak Spanish.
