The Central Tlaxiaco Mixtec of Mexico, numbering approximately 16,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an ethno-linguistic subgroup of the Mixtec, an indigenous Mesoamerican people of Mexico and can also be known as Magdalena Peñasco, Mixtec, Mixteco Tijaltepec, Tijaltepec; Mixtec, Yucuañe, Sinicahua, Mixtec, Mixteco de San Pablo Tijaltepec, Tijaltepec, Mixteco de San Antonio Sinicahua, Mixtec, Mixteco de San Bartolomé Yucuañe, Yucuañe; Mixtec, Mixtec, Magdalena Peñasco; Mixtec. They are an Indigenous people, in the Mixtec people cluster of the Latin-Caribbean Americans affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Folk Catholicism. They primarily speak Mixtec, Tijaltepec.
