The Mitlatongo Mixtec of Mexico, numbering approximately 1,300 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are described as an ethno-linguistic subgroup of the Mixtec, an indigenous Mesoamerican people of Mexico They are an Indigenous people, with Mixtec as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Mixtec people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples. They mostly adhere to Folk Catholicism and Spanish is their primary language.
