The Penoles Mixtec of Mexico, numbering approximately 9,400 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an ethno-linguistic subgroup of the Mixtec, an indigenous Mesoamerican people of Mexico and can also be known as Eastern Mixtec, Eastern Mixtec, Mixteco de San Mateo Tepantepec, Eastern Mixtec; Mixteco de San Mateo Tepantepec, Mixtec of San Mateo Tepantepec. They are an Indigenous people, in the Mixtec people cluster of the Latin-Caribbean Americans affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Folk Catholicism. They primarily speak Mixtec, Peñoles.
