The Western Huave of Mexico, numbering approximately 23,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are one of the four main subgroups of the Huave people, an Indigenous group in Oaxaca, Mexico, who speak languages from the Huavean family (an isolate, unrelated to other Mesoamerican languages) They are an Indigenous people, in the Central American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Folk Catholicism. They primarily speak Huave, San Mateo del Mar.
