They are a pygmy people in Democratic Republic of the Congo and can also be known as Kibatchwa; Dibatchwa; Bakango, Bakango, Dibatchwa, Kibatchwa. They are an Indigenous people, in the Bantu, Central-Congo people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion - Animism. They primarily speak Kango (DRC, Tshopo district).
