The Central Tarahumara of Mexico

The Central Tarahumara of Mexico, numbering approximately 126,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic community of Mexico and can also be known as Tarahumara del Centro, Central Tarahumara, Samachique Tarahumara, Alta Tarahumara, Samachique Tarahumara; Tarahumara del Centro; Alta Tarahumara; Ralámuli de la Tarahumara Alta, Ralámuli de la Tarahumara Alta, Samachique Tarahumara. They are an Indigenous people, in the Aztec people cluster of the Latin-Caribbean Americans affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Folk Catholicism. They primarily speak Spanish.
