The Western Tarahumara of Mexico

The Western Tarahumara of Mexico, numbering approximately 24,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic community of Mexico and can also be known as Tarahumara Oeste, Rocoroibo, Rarámuri, Lowland Tarahumara, Tarahumara del Poniente, Lowland Tarahumara, Baja Tarahumara, Western Tarahumara, Ralámuli de la Baja Tarahumara. They are an Indigenous people, in the Aztec people cluster of the Latin-Caribbean Americans affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Folk Catholicism. They primarily speak Spanish.
