They are an Algonquian-speaking Amerindian group indigenous to the United States and Mexico and can also be known as Kikapú, Kicapus, Kikapaux, Kikapoo, Quicapause, Kickapoo, Kikapoo; Kikapú. They are an Indigenous people, in the North American Indigenous people cluster of the North American Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Folk Catholicism. They primarily speak Spanish.
