The Karakalpaks of Uzbekistan, numbering approximately 760,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a language of Uzbekistan, along the lower Amu Darya; south Aral Sea area. They are an Indigenous people in the Kazakh people cluster of the Turkic Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Karakalpak and their primary religion is Sunni Islam.
